Mechanical Smoke Extraction is carefully designed to ensure that in the event of a fire, smoke is extracted and removed from the structure as quickly as possible, and that smoke free escape routes are created for building occupants and fire-fighters access. This successful installation by SFE Services was completed for a seven story Hotel. These massive 1250 mm diameter mechanical fans are designed to extract smoke from the enormous atrium incase of a Fire. This system works on a soft start system to ensure a smoother startup of these fans.
